Designs by Loriece (DbL) is a US company located in St. Clair Shores near Detroit, Michigan. The company was formed in 2006 to complement its Canadian counterpart, Bits & Pieces Equine Jewelery, a company with an established international reputation for its equestrian product line of the same name - Bits & Pieces. Though each is corporately independent, DbL and Bits & Pieces Equine Jewelery work in tandem to optimize service throughout North America. DbL was established to provide an operational framework for additional product lines beyond the current Bits & Pieces offering. All materials, labor and manufacturing are obtained or carried out in the US and Canada – a tradition that is proudly and steadfastly maintained. Loriece Boatright continues to produce world-class designs that are sure to keep the company at the forefront of the industry for many years to come.

About the Designer

Loriece Boatright began her career as a designer and goldsmith over 25 years ago. Like many young girls, Loriece was drawn to the equestrian world – developing a passion for horses that soon expressed itself through the design of innovative equine jewelry. With an astute eye for detail and a remarkable imagination, she has produced extraordinary pieces of jewelry that include 17 uniquely themed collections that are marketed as part of the Bits & Pieces product line. With her personal dedication to quality, service and the achievement of perfection, Designs by Loriece continues to earn an international reputation for design concepts and outstanding craftsmanship.

Buying on the Internet - there's often a reluctance to purchase something that you can't "touch and feel". While we've taken care to provide detailed and realistic photographs, you still may be a little apprehensive – so we've taken the step of offering a money-back guarantee. Just phone us within 7 days and pay for the shipping, and we'll happily refund your purchase. There will be a 25% restocking fee, and refunds will not be processed if they exceed 14 days. Some exceptions may apply for customized or personalized pieces. If there's an authorized dealer close by, please take the time to visit them and see the quality and craftsmanship up close.

About Materials - We use only precious metals. We source our precious and semi-precious stones from suppliers around the world.

Whether you're a horse lover, a true equestrian or simply have an appreciation for fine custom jewelry, you'll find something for every occasion. There's a unique jewelry piece for everyone among our equine-inspired products. Choose from bracelets, brooches, earrings, pendants, rings and a full range of equestrian and seasonal giftware. We cover the full range of riding disciplines including dressage, hunter/ jumper, western, eventing, and fox hunting. Some jewelry pieces can be customized to reflect the various breeds such as quarter horses, Trakehner, Hanoverian, Holsteiner, Oldenburg, Westphalian, Danish, Dutch and Swedish Warmblood.

Use your Imagination - Most items are available in Sterling Silver, or 14 carat white or yellow Gold. We can also do Platinum or 18 carat Gold. Where diamonds and gemstones are used, you're able to specify the type of stones you'd like. If you think a piece can be enhanced with some diamonds or gemstones, just send us an Inquiry with your thoughts and we'll see what we can do.

Diamonds and Gemstones - Diamonds and gemstones displayed in our pictures are "promotional" grade and represent a consistent calibre in our pieces. We'd be pleased to upgrade diamonds or gemstones to even higher grades to achieve exactly the color and brilliance that you are looking for.

Special Occasions - We have a variety of jewelry that can be adorned with gemstones for birthdays or to represent a particular anniversary. Many people are unaware that there is a gemstone for almost every anniversary year. We can help you select beautiful gemstones to meet your needs. In addition to birthdays and anniversaries, there are many occasions where a piece of jewelry can be very appropriate.
